This week we introduce you to one of Elsy’s newest Interior Designers, Sam Ward.

Sam attended design school at Colorado State University – GO RAMS! Her modern approach and technical skillset have improved Elsy’s client experience by developing 3D design renderings that present a more realistic view of projects and enhance the presentation of the design vision.

One of her latest projects included designing the new interior of a Quiznos franchise in Wisconsin. Sam worked closely with the Quiznos team to carefully render each design element as realistic as possible to help visualize the space. As you can see – the rendering and reality are remarkably similar!

Key to success in her role includes staying up-to-date on the latest products and trends, researching design elements, and drafting plans for a variety of projects. While developing design concepts, Sam implements unique design solutions for everything from lighting and brand integration to finishes for each project.

What makes Elsy different, according to Sam?

“First and foremost, the people,” she says. “Everyone has such a different background that they really bring a wide variety of knowledge to the firm.”

Outside of the office, Sam is active in Colorado chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) through involvement as chair of the Emerging Professionals Committee and a member of their Membership and Communications committees. She’s also a volunteer tour guide for Historic Denver and enjoys scuba diving, Rockies games, reading and photography.
