Cathy brings 14 years of design and project management experience to her role at Elsy Studios. Her creativity and interior design talents have earned her the loyalty of her clients, as well as recognition in Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Office 2012 and book, Best of Office. In 2014, Cathy was also recognized as one of Denver Business Journal’s Forty Under 40.

Cathy has worked with Lynn Coit since 2005, starting at Box Studios before joining her at Elsy. Prior to joining Box Studios, Cathy served as a project manager with Downs & Associates, an independent furniture manufacturer, where she managed, evaluated and wrote furniture specifications, as well as provided pricing and bid packages to designers and furniture dealers. Cathy’s experience makes her a tremendous asset to our clients at Elsy with her ability to quickly predict and manage every logistic of designing a space from start to finish.

Cathy’s most recent projects at Elsy include design work for Liberty Media, Solidfire, Miles Marketing, Jerry Built, Swinerton Builders, Hybris, AAA, USI and TetraTech.

Cathy received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Furman University before receiving her associate degree in interior design from Arapahoe Community College. She is continually striving to add to her skill set. Cathy was recently a part of the Downtown Denver Partnership’s Leadership Class of 2016, is NCIDQ-certified and has also received her LEED Green Associate credential from the U.S. Green Business Council.

Outside of the office, Cathy spends her time volunteering with Junior League and as a volunteer/ally with Upstream Impact. She also participates annually in We Care, an event for the Boys and Girls Club, and the Warm-A-Heart project. Cathy and her husband Jim enjoy traveling and all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.
