A High-End Experience for a National Medical Spa’s New Denver Offices

For the new Cherry Creek North offices of Elite Body Sculpture, Elsy Studios was enlisted to design a space that would convey the polish, professionalism and discretion associated with the national medical spa brand.

Thoughtful integration of Room and Board artwork, furnishings, specialty lighting, and accessories create a high-end feel while cool stone and tile, juxtaposed with warm metals and soft, plush fabrics, achieve a clean, modern and inviting aesthetic throughout the offices. Careful space planning further supports the desired level of privacy in both service areas and access points.

In addition to design considerations, Elsy facilitated coordination with the Cherry Creek North Design Advisory Board for the first-generation space. Elsy helped navigate and overcome timing and equipment challenges to meet the project management team’s opening goals for the space.

The result is a stunning space that allows Elite Body Sculpture to put its best face forward for its introduction to the upscale Denver market.

CREATING THE ULTIMATE SPA DAY EXPERIENCE

Elsy Studios worked closely with Glosshouz’s owner to design a space that easily facilitated an entire day of activities at the spa – from socializing over cocktails and mani-pedis and getting treatments with friends in the specially designed room for private parties to enjoying a relaxing massage in a tranquil treatment room or getting a blow-out before a night on the town.

Given the multipurpose nature of the facility, the design had to optimize the efficiency of the program to accommodate the maximum number of treatment areas while still providing an upscale, comfortable atmosphere for clients and spa technicians alike. The front of the salon is designed to be conducive to a more social atmosphere while the back lends itself to quieter private treatment rooms, including several rooms with spa tubs.

The clean, bright white and mixed metal color scheme was thoughtfully selected to reflect a notion of beauty and polish, and appeal to the target demographic – women. Curved countertops, floral textured panels on the wall and light fixtures in the shape of tulips further highlight – and celebrate – the feminine nature of the space. The result is the ultimate spa day experience.

BALANCING COMFORT AND LUXURY APPEAL IN AN UPSCALE SKI LOUNGE

Elsy Studios’ design for Inspirato’s flagship member lounge in the resort town of Vail, Colorado, took inspiration from New York social clubs, but with a more relaxed Après ski sensibility.

The majority of the tenant space was designed for member relaxation and socialization, while discreetly incorporating practical features such as ski boot storage, a home theatre, boarding pass printing and vacation planning areas. Mixed metals, reflective surfaces and rustic elements combined to create a comfortably refined design throughout the space.

Despite the tight timeline, the design and construction team completed the project on time – even with a number of one-of-a-kind elements. Large custom banquettes make a bold statement and provide relief and texture to the wall plane, drawing new and potential members in. Custom walnut tables serve as a practical architectural element, defining the boundaries of seating areas and continuing onto the ceiling to support glowing damask pendant lights – all while providing an easy spot to rest your drink after a day on the slopes.
