Embracing Colorful Colorado

For this global company, Elsy crafted a regional office space that captured the essence of Colorado’s charm while redefining workspaces in the post-pandemic era. The objective was to create something unexpected: blending the comfort of mountain living with the sophistication of a boutique hotel, all within a high-rise setting. Utilizing warm materials and ambient lighting to cultivate a serene and inviting atmosphere, the space offers versatility through diverse work zones that embody the company’s ethos and Colorado’s charm.

Balancing varied preferences among user groups presented a challenge. However, our meticulous plan included private and collaborative spaces, effectively allocated across the 24,000-square-foot space. Strategic placement of offices ensured equitable access to daylight and views for all, while versatile furniture configurations and thoughtful acoustic treatments created opportunities for both privacy and collaboration. The outcome was an inviting and adaptable office workspace that exudes stability without sacrificing flexibility.

The café, designed to be comfortable and nestled amongst panoramic views, serves as a retreat reminiscent of a mountain escape. The focal point of the space is the mosaic mountain mural: a centerpiece crafted with sustainable Fireclay Tiles.

Project Partners included TASK Project Management, Columbine, i2 Construction, Corporate Concepts, Make West and Liz Graham Art Consulting. In addition to Fireclay Tile, other product manufacturers included Interface, Arktura, Modern Forms Lighting, Tech Lighting, Nydree, ALUR and FilzFelt.
