The Chotin Group, Leader in real estate lending and investments, requested their boutique office be clean and modern yet industrial and warm. You enter space through a wood portal surround that gives us a subtle glimpse of the art within. The workplace is designed to promote quiet heads down work and social collaboration and often has a backdrop of paintings or sculptural pieces that have meaning to the team. The main conference room has a New York feel with a Colorado live edge table. The books in this room are bound with a photo of the Brooklyn Bridge as a nod to where the investment firm’s founder started. This office design is focused on an open family-like café. The Chotin family’s collection of existing and newly commissioned art combined with ample circulation gives the space a gallery-like quality. The wood and glass circular design element pays homage to the past brand in a forward-thinking way. The workplace we designed is comfortable and timeless.
